Broomfield County holds a unique place in Colorado history — it is the newest county in the state, officially established on November 15, 2001, after residents voted to separate from Adams, Boulder, Jefferson, and Weld counties. Before becoming its own consolidated city-and-county government, Broomfield’s neighborhoods were divided among four jurisdictions, creating challenges for law enforcement, courts, and public services. The successful transition made Broomfield just the second consolidated city and county in Colorado, alongside Denver.
Although Broomfield is the smallest county by land size — only 33.6 square miles — it has become one of the fastest-growing and most desirable regions in the state. Situated along the US-36 technology corridor, it bridges Denver and Boulder and is home to innovative employers, strong schools, and extensive open-space preservation. Today, Broomfield is known for its community pride, quality of life, and well-developed systems, including the Broomfield Detention Center and Broomfield Combined Courts, which operate with a reputation for professionalism and efficiency.
My personal and professional connection to Broomfield
While I was born and raised in Adams County (Westminster, Colorado), Broomfield has been a meaningful part of my life for many years. I first lived in Broomfield as a teenager, right around the time it became an official county, experiencing the excitement and transition firsthand as the community grew into its own identity.
Later, Broomfield became the place where my bail bond career was built from the ground up. I learned the bail industry through hands-on work with Gabe at 24 Hour Bail Bonds — a Pueblo native and long-time Broomfield resident, as well as a retired U.S. Air Force veteran with decades of experience in the justice system. I spent countless hours at his office, driving to Broomfield multiple times a week over a span of 10 years to learn every detail of bonds, contracts, indemnitor processes, and real-time court and jail procedures. Many of my first real cases were handled at the Broomfield Detention Center, where I gained the experience and confidence I bring to families today.
Broomfield isn’t just a county I serve — it is where my professional roots were planted. The lessons I learned there about integrity, responsibility, compassion, and efficiency continue to shape every bond I write across Colorado.
I am honored to support Broomfield families with fast, confidential, and reliable bail bond assistance, especially during moments when every minute matters and trusted help makes all the difference.
